Jules Hoffmann教授


       Jules Hoffmann教授是2011年诺贝尔生理学或医学奖的得主,目前是斯特拉斯堡大学的终身教授,广州医科大学霍夫曼免疫研究所名誉所长以及特聘教授,法国科学院以及法兰西学院的两院院士,德国国家科学院、俄罗斯国家科学院以及美国癌症研究协会院士。2013Jules Hoffmann教授与广州医科大学合作签订协议,建立霍夫曼免疫研究所(sino-French Hoffmann Institute),201910Hoffmann教授联合陈笛副研究员以及Akira Goto(法国国家健康与医学研究中心副教授,终身职位,广州医科大学特聘教授)在霍夫曼免疫研究所设立以果蝇为模型的天然免疫抗肿瘤机制研究课题组,目前课题经费充足。研究所以昆虫为模型研究天然免疫机制相关的分子以及遗传机制。(网站https://sfhi.gzhmu.edu.cn/Hoffmann2011年,由于他对于天然免疫激活机制的重要发现,与Bruce Beutler教授以及Ralph Steinman教授共同获得诺贝尔生理学或医学奖。此外,Jules Hoffmann教授还是法兰西荣誉军团军官和法兰西学院的“不朽者”(法兰西学院院士)。他及其同事的研究开启了人们对天然免疫在哺乳动物中的重要作用有了重新的认识。

 目前,霍夫曼教授是广州医科大学广州霍夫曼免疫研究所的名誉所长以及科学委员会主席。从2018学年度开始正式招收博士研究生。欢迎具有分子生物学、细胞生物学以及免疫学教育背景的学生申报。表现优异者,可以申请斯特拉斯堡与广州医科大学双博士学位。
