Jean Luc Imler教授


Jean Luc Imler教授从1994年开始从事以果蝇为模型的天然免疫机制研究。他的课题组是果蝇抗病毒免疫的开拓者,在该领域多个方面作出重要贡献:1RNA干扰在抗病毒中的作用 (Galiana-Arnoux et al., 2006; Kemp et al., 2013; Mueller et al., 2010)2)诱导性抗病毒免疫机制(Deddouche et al., 2008; Dostert et al., 2005; Lamiable et al., 2016)3)影响病毒感染的宿主因子的鉴定(Eleftherianos et al., 2011; Majzoub et al., 2014). 此外,他与果蝇遗传与成像专家Carine Meignin博士保持紧密的合作,主要研究核酸的动力学。

       Jean-Luc Imler has been working on innate immunity in the Drosophila model since 1994, and his group pioneered the field of antiviral immunity in this model, making important contributions on the antiviral role of RNAi (Galiana-Arnoux et al., 2006; Kemp et al., 2013; Mueller et al., 2010), on the induced antiviral response (Deddouche et al., 2008; Dostert et al., 2005; Lamiable et al., 2016), and on the characterization of host factors participating in the control of viral infections (Eleftherianos et al., 2011; Majzoub et al., 2014). He also works in close association with Dr. Carine Meignin, a specialist of Drosophila genetics and of cell imaging, in particular regarding the dynamics of nucleic acids.


 

课题组研究方向

我们利用黑腹果蝇来解读昆虫中的病毒宿主的相互作用。有两个研究团队协同工作致力于研究这一重要课题,但侧重点有所不同。第一个团队专注于研究可诱导反应及调控病毒感染的宿主因子(信号通路及抗病毒效应因子团队,由J.-L. Imler带领);第二个团队专注于研究病毒相关RNA的检测及中和(RNAi及受体团队,由C. Meignin带领)。

       We are using the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster to decipher host-virus interactions in insects. Two teams with convergent interests and complementary sets of expertise address this important topic. The first focuses on inducible responses and host factors regulating viral infections (Signalisation & Antiviral Effectors, headed by J.-L. Imler), whereas the second studies the detection and the neutralization of viral RNAs (RNAi & Receptors, headed by C. Meignin).
